3 cloves Garlic (minced)
3 TBSP Olive Oil

6 pieces Greek Pita Bread (flat)
1 piece Tomato (medium) Thinly Sliced

3 TBSP Parsley (small bunch) Chopped

1 cup Greek Yogurt Full-fat
1/2 pieces Cucumber (Without Seed) Grated, excess liquid squeezed out
2 cloves Garlic Minced
1 TBSP Fresh Dill Chopped
1 TBSP Lemon Juice Freshly squeezed
1 TBSP Extra Virgin Olive Oil
To Taste Salt

Marinate the Meat

In a bowl, combine the olive oil, lemon juice, minced garlic, dried or fresh oregano, salt, and pepper to make the marinade. Add the bite-sized pieces of chicken, to the marinade. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes, or up to 4 hours for maximum flavor.

Prepare Tzatziki Sauce

In a separate bowl, mix together the Greek yogurt, grated cucumber, minced garlic, chopped fresh dill, lemon juice, extra virgin olive oil, salt, and pepper. Refrigerate the Tzatziki sauce until serving.

Skewer the Meat

Preheat the grill or grill pan over medium-high heat. Thread the marinated meat onto the soaked wooden skewers, leaving a little space between each piece.

Grill the Souvlaki

Grill the skewers for about 5-7 minutes per side or until the meat is cooked through and has nice grill marks.

Warm the Pita Bread

While the meat is grilling, warm the pita bread on the grill for about 1 minute on each side or until slightly toasted.

Assemble the Souvlaki

Remove the cooked meat from the skewers. Place the warm pita bread on serving plates. Top with the grilled meat, sliced red onion, sliced tomatoes, and sliced or diced cucumber.

Serve with Tzatziki

Drizzle generous amounts of Tzatziki sauce over the Souvlaki. Serve immediately and enjoy this Greek delight!
